MINUTES
The Design Review Board met in special session October 16, 2012, Chairman McCullough
presiding.
1. CALL TO ORDER: Chairman McCullough calls the meeting to order at 11:00 am.
2. ROLL CALL: The following members were present: MC CULLOUGH, GRUBB,
HULL. ABSENT: PASCUA, SAYER, COMSTOCK, BRASHER. A quorum is
present.
3. NEW BUSINESS:
A. TR-02-12—827 East Riverside Drive—BHH LLC: BHH LLC, represented by
Matt Schultz, is requesting approval to remove numerous trees located around the
perimeter of the property located at 827 East Riverside Drive. The 17-acre site is
located on the south side of East Riverside Drive, approximately 650-feet east of East
Shore Drive.
Matt Schultz, 2127 Alaska Way, Meridian, Idaho reviews the application. City Planner
Cerda reviews the application. Board discussion.
McCullough moves to approve TR-02-12—827 East Riverside Drive—BHH LLC
with the following additions to the site specific conditions of approval:
Site specific condition #1: The applicant will work with ACHD to remove the two
large cottonwoods that are in the right way and repair the 10 ft.wide pathway.
Site specific condition #2: The Design Review Board unanimously agrees with the
removal of unwanted softwood trees and also supports the ongoing resolution to
apply these trees in the future to the code. Seconded by Grubb. Discussion.
McCullough moves to modify the motion, strike softwood, and add the ongoing list
of trees to be applied. Second concurs. ALL AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
4. ADJOURNMENT:
Grubb moves to adjourn at 11:25 am. Seconded by McCullough. ALL
AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
