DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
MINUTES
The Design Review Board met in regular session, February 12,2009, Chairman McCullough
presiding.
1. CALL TO ORDER: Chairman McCullough calls the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: The following members were present: MC CULLOUGH, GRUBB,
BARNES, WHITTAKER. ABSENT: BUTLER, KOCI, NIBLETT. A quorum is
present.
3. CONSENT AGENDA.
. Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine and are acted on with one motion.
There will be no separate discussion on these items unless a Design Review Board
member, City Staff, or a citizen requests an item to be removed from the Consent
Agenda for discussion. Items removed from the Consent Agenda will be placed on the
Regular Agenda in a sequence determined by the Rules of Order.
. Any item on the Consent Agenda that contains written recommendations from the
City of Eagle shall be adopted as part of the Design Review's Consent Agenda
approval motion unless specifically stated otherwise.

B. Findine:s of Fact and Conclusions of Law for DR-83-08 - Convert a Residential
Dwelline: into an Art Studio and Gallery - Kellv Beach Art Studio and Gallery:
Kelly Beach Art Studio and Gallery, represented by Lynn Brown Architect, is
requesting design review approval to convert a 2,372-square foot residential dwelling
into an art studio and gallery. The 0.34-acre site is located on the west side of North
1 sl Street approximately 600- feet north of East Idaho Street at 237 North 1 sl Street.
Barnes moves to accept the consent agenda as written. Seconded by Grubb. ALL
AVE...MOTION CARRIES.
4. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None.
5. NEW BUSINESS:
A. DR-84-08 - One Multi-Panel Monument Sie:n for Eae:le River Development -
RSM Investments. Inc.: RSM Investments, Inc., represented by Susan Bosworth
with Young Electric Sign Company, is requesting design review approval to
construct a monument sign for the Eagle River Development. The sign will be
located on the east side of Eagle Road approximately 370- feet north of SH 44.

Grubb moves to approve DR-84-08 - One Multi-Panel Monument Sign for Eagle
River Development with the following modifications:
Site specific condition #6: The slope of the berm underneath the monument sign
shall be a maximum 3 ~ to 1 slope. A new revised landscape plan will be provided to
be approved by one member of the Design Review Board and staff. Drawing to
show new pipe length. Seconded by Barnes. ALL AVE...MOTION CARRIES.
B. DR-85-08 - One Multi-Panel Monument Sie:n for Eae:le River Development -
RSM Investments. Inc.: RSM Investments, Inc., represented by Susan Bosworth
with Young Electric Sign Company, is requesting design review approval to
construct a monument sign for the Eagle River Development. The sign will be
located on the east side of Eagle Road approximately 750-feet north of SH 44.
Grubb moves to approve DR-85-08 - One Multi-Panel Monument Sign for Eagle
River Development as written. Seconded by Whittaker. ALL AVE...MOTION
CARRIES.
