Minutes - 1997 - Design Review - 06/26/1997 - Regular ORIGINAL EAGLE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD MINUTES June 26, 1997 The Eagle Design Review Board met in regular session on 1997. Chairman Vance presiding. CALL TO ORDER: ROLL CALL: The following members were present: MORRAY, VANCE, WITTE :Present. MARTINEZ, PEDERSEN Absent. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL: A. Minutes of May 22, 1997. Murray moves to accept the miuutes of May 22,1997. Seconded by Witte. ALL AYE MOTION CARRIES. NEW BUSINESS: DR-14-97 - First Security Bank within Ea!!le Plaza - Gre!! Toolson: First Security Bank, represented by Greg Toolson, is requesting design review approval for a 2,765 sq. ft. bank to be located within Eagle Plaza. The 4.4-acre site is located on the east side of Eagle Road approximately Y4-mile south of State Street at 174 South Eagle Road (temp. address). Vance introduces the item. Greg Toolson JGT Architecture 1212 12th Ave. S. Nampa, ID, gives general overview of the First Security application located within Eagle Plaza. General Discussion. Vance moves to approve the First Security Bank with all of the General and Site specific conditions of approval, with the additional conditions that the north elevation be gabled to match that of the south elevation, and the windows are to be as shown on Sheet A-4.0. Seconded by Witte. ALL AYE. MOTION CARRIES...... DR-16-97 - New wall si!!n for Jensen Real Estate in Bosanka Villa!!e: Debbie Anderson, with Idaho Electric Signs, is requesting design review approval for a wall sign for Jensen Real Estate located in the Bosanka Village Shopping Center. The site is located approximately Y4-mile west of Eagle Road at 391 West State Street. Debbie Anderson, Idaho Electric Signs, 6528 Supply Way Boise, ID. Gives a general overview of the proposed sign for Bosanka Village. General Discussion between Staff, Board, and Applicant. Witte moves to deny the sign. Seconded by Murray. Discussion. TWO AVE...ONE NAY...MOTION CARRIES.......... Discussion of types of street trees bein!! permitted: The Zoning Administrator is asking the Design Review Board to discuss the types of street trees that have been permitted. Will these trees provide a canopy in the future? If so, when can they be expected to be providing such a canopy?
