EAGLE CITY LANDSCAPING COMMITTEE
MINUTES
June 9, 1994

Masner, Pete centorino.
SUBJECTS TO DISCUSS:
Echo Creek #3
The plan for phase 3 was discussed at length. It was suggested
t.hat retaining walls, constructed of keystone concrete blocks,
Jocated on both siœs of the entrance be sh~ on a dr~ing, along
with landsc~ing. The plan calls for cedar fencing along SH55 and
the development. It was Suggested that landscaping should be
included along the hig~~ as _ll. Bill ~hrke had objections to
that idea, stating the State Hig~ay Dept. ~uld not want that, it
is not in tM present budget aM there are areas that it ~uld not
be possible to laooscape. The co_ittee felt that tOO dr~ing was
not c=plete and asked Bill to return the plan to Pete Cinterino to
complete and return to the conunittee. Meanwhile staff will contact
ITD to discuSS the possibili~ of laMseaping in the right-of-~
areas of swdivisions a~ co=ercial areas. T~ Co=ittee
SUggested ITO be i=ited to a future ~eting to discuSS the issue
of right's-of-ways.
PERIWINKLE SUBDIVISION/Eagle Apts:
The plan was accepted as presented.
IDAHO POWER:
Franz will _et with an Idaho p~er representative at the site to
discuSS the possibility of landscaping in connection to the lack of
water in the area. The city staff will approach the council and
the city Engineer on how to get _ter to that location and ~uld
the city assist with the water and perhaps maintenance of that
land.
BOBS TROLLEY:
The revised plan was discussed. ~t the c~ittee thought there
should be additions made, and conditions of approval. Those
conditions were:

the site will be professionally maintained
