FOLLOW UP PROJECTS TO THE JUNE 2 MEETING
Melanie Davis called back from ITD, she said any spraying of
chemicals on State St. would require a special form which would
accompany the form she provided for us at the last meeting. There
would be no extra cost other than the permit which is $20.00. Most
of the time they would not have a problem with it, they just like
to know what chemicals are being used.
On my inquiry about the right of-way "gullies" at the Roundy site,
Melanie tells me they not only would they give permission to fill
and landscape them but would applaud it being done. We were
misinformed!
I checked with Melanie on the concern that properties bordering
State St. should be required to either construct curb, gutter and
sidewalk or bond for it, starting with Eagle Wing. She told me
Bill Korby needs to come in for a access permit and they already
informed us they would ask for that, they will do just that.
Apparently she is preparing a letter to go to the Mayor and Council
on the subject.
We will be meeting probably within the month.
