Chairman Ron Marshall called the meeting ~o order at 7:30 n.r..

Girson moved West seconded 'l'ie a'1:'rove rrjrutes of Hay 19, 1981.
Motion carried unanimously.
ADDlication #7-81 was presented to the beard ty Orval Smith.
After some discussion by the board it was decidpd that the a~Dli-
cation and drawings were semewhat incern~lete, and Mr. ~mith agreed
to do more wor} on them and retur~ to the board at a later date.
Application #6-81/4-80 for screening of the air co~diticner unit
en the roof of the ICA store was submitted to the board by Ron
Xarshall.
Gtosby moved Gipson seconded that we aporove the nlan as drawn
with batten added to the 1x12 screening area. Color being the same
as existing building. Also ~tati~g that they are still obligated
to construct a wooden tike rack and benches betwren the front of
the store and side wal~. Applicant is encouraged to complete this
project by October 15, 1981. ~otion carried unaniMously.
A~Dlicatjon #5-81 remodel and addition of old post office. Please
note that due to the fact that Jim Gipson is the architect on this
a"plication and is reprrsenting the owner, Bill Taylor, h~ will
not be acti~g as Dart of the board on this annlication.
The following items were discussed and agreed upon.

Overall mass conàidered acceptable.
Materials used. Existin~ cinder block w~ll be covered witt
. wood. WooS. > siding , fir or pine, in a board on to&rd T'8ttern.
The same will be used on the new portion of the structure.
Roof material will be wood shingles witt the excention of the
flat portion whict wiJl not be viewed by the putlic.
Colors wi]l be natural wood with sealer but unnainted.
Sign? will be of wood Dlaced on the facade with flood lirhting,
no Dlastic will be allowed.
Winðows & glass will be wood framed, bronze anodized alumi-
num, with tinted ylass and mu1lion bars.
Landscaping selection will be low growin¡:; buffalo juni-:;ers,
and ever~reen Dines. Ex~ct size and location notea on the plan.
