DESIGN REVIEW MEETING ------ October 20, 1981
Chairman Ron Marshall called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Mr. and Mrs. James Bruce
Gipson moved Crosby seconded we dispense with reading of minutes
of the previous meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. and Mrs. James Bruce, owners of the Eagle Hotel, at the corner
of 1st and State Street, presented application #8-81, requesting
approval to restore the building to its original state, complying
with requirements of the National Historical Register.
Changes in the existing building would be to remove the cinder
block addition on the front of the building, remove the wooden
building at the rear of the property to provide parking, new
stairway at the rear of the building, restore porch on front and
balcony on 2nd floor level on front of building.
The original cement block, windows and glass will be left as is.
The only new materials to be added will be the wood porch, columns
and balcony. Existing colors of black, silver gray and white to
be used. Signs were not reviewed as future tenants will be install-
ing own signs.
Crosby moved Cintorino seconded we accept and approve the restora-
tion to its original state as presented by Mr. and Mrs. James
Bruce. Voting as follows: Cintorino Aye
Crosby Aye
Gipson Aye
West Aye
Results: Motion carried unanimously.
