ROLL CALL:
BRINTON, FARNWORTH, MOSER, TRENT, WILSON
The following members were present: Brinton, Farnworth, Moser, Trent, Wilson. A quorum is present.
REQUEST FOR APPROVAL:
Minutes of May 18, 1998.
Moved by Wilson and Seconded by Trent to approve minutes from May 18, 1998 as presented.
ALL AYE... MOTION CARRIES.
CONSENT AGENDA:
None
OLD BUSINESS:
None
PUBLIC HEARINGS: A. RZ-3-98 - REZONE FROM R-4 TO CBD (WITH DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT)
- JAMES BEARD: James Beard, represented by James Gipson, is requesting a rezone from R-4
(Residential) to CBD (Central Business District). The Zoning Administrator is recommending that a
development agreement accompany the rezone. The 0.3-acre site is located on the south side of Aikens
Road approximately 250-feet east of Eagle Road at 79 East Aikens Road.
Brinton introduces the issue. Brinton acknowledges the required sign was not posted prior to the Planning
and Zoning Meeting.
Farnworth moves to continue RZ-3-98 to the next Planning and Zoning Meeting, to be held on June
15, 1998. Seconded by Trent. ALL AYE. MOTION CARRIES...
NEW BUSINESS:
None
REPORTS:
A. Council Liaison - did not attend.
B. Zoning Administrator - Butler comments on upcoming agenda items. Farnworth would like any
meetings with only one item on the agenda to be continued to eliminate 15-20 minute meetings.
McFadden gives recommendations concerning agendas, meetings, and procedures. By-laws currently
require two meetings per month. General Discussion.
Joint meeting will be held on June 30, 1998. Brinton would like the Design Review Board to attend.
Butler gives update on the last City Council Meeting.

Motion by Farnworth to support staff's recommendation to extend Ranch Drive to Cobblestone
Lane in Wintry River Subdivision. Seconded by Moser. ALL AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
C. Attorney - McFadden discusses the details and outcome of a case in Payette County.
ADJOURNMENT at 8:10 p.m.
Moved by Wilson and Seconded by Trentto Adjourn. ALL AYE... MOTION CARRIES...
