EAGLE PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING
June 30,1997
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in a special session on June 30, 1997.
Chairman Bradley presiding.
1. CALL TO ORDER:
2. ROLL CALL: The following members were present: BRADLEY, BRINTON,
FARNWORTH, Present: MAILE, MAYER Absent. A Quorum is Present.
3. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
A. ZOA-3-97 - Zonin!! Ordinance Amendment - City of Ea!!le: To consider modifying
subdivision requirements related to public and private streets.
Bradley introduces the issue.
The Zoning Administrator gives a general overview of the item, including reasons for the proposed
amendments. General discussion between Commissioners and Butler regarding the proposed
changes.
Chairman Bradley announced it is the time and the place for the Public Hearing.
Chuck Palmer, 1100 E. Valli Hi Eagle, Id. Would like 20 foot roads instead of24 foot allowance
for private streets. This 20 foot allowance meets ACHD standards. Also expresses his opinion
regarding base needs, different areas may need or require different needs. Possibly the Commission
would consider different base criteria.
Bradley closes the public hearing regarding the Zoning Ordinance Amendment.
Discussion between the Commissioners and Butler.
Brinton recommends to approve the changes to ZOA-3-97 Zoning Ordinance amending Title
9 Land Subdivisions Chapter 3 Design Standards Section 2 Streets and Alleys as presented
with the addition under 9-3-2-5Bl as may be recommended by the City Engineer and
approved by the City Council. Seconded by Farnworth. ALL AYE... MOTION CARRIES.
4. ADJOURNMENT: MOVED BY BRINTON AND SECONDED BY
FARNWORTH TO ADJOURN. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIES......................
