EAGLE PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING MINUTES
April 1, 1996
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session on
April 1, 1996. Chairman BRADLEY presiding.
The following members were present: BERT BRADLEY, DONALD BRINTON,
RUSSEL MAYER, FARRIN FARNWORTH. Absent: COLLEEN MAILE.
Moved by BRINTON and seconded by FARNWORTH to approve the minutes
of the March 18, 1996, meeting as presented. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
PUBLIC HEARING/ORDINANCE 270 - NOTICE LAND USE ACTIONS (continued):
Chairman BRADLEY announced it is the time and the place for a
public hearing regarding the code amendment for the notice for land
use actions.
Applicant: City of Eagle
ProposaL: To provide for uniform notice requirements for
Conditional Use Permits, Variances, Zoning Text and Zoning Map,
Annexation, Development Agreements, Preliminary Plats of
Subdivisions, General Subdivision Ordinance, Comprehensive Plan and
Zoning Ordinance Text and Map, and to require posting of the
property in all public hearing applications.
Moved by BRINTON and seconded by MAYER to continue the public
hearing until the next regularly scheduled meeting. ALL AYE:
MOTION CARRIED.
PUBLIC HEARING/OXFORD COURT SUBDIVISION-REZONE/PRELIMINARY PLAT:
Chairman BRADLEY announced that he has a conflict of interest and
will not participate in the public hearing discussion regarding
Oxford Court.
Vice Chairman BRINTON announced it is the time and the place for a
public hearing regarding the application for a rezone and
preliminary plat for Oxford Court Subdivision.
Applicant: Max Boesiger, Inc.
Location: Near the corner of Floating Feather Road and Edgewood
Road, Eagle, Idaho. North of Floating Feather Road, north of
Farmers Union Canal, on the west boundary of Lexington Hills
Subdivision Phase 1 & 4.
Proposed Land Use: A rezone of 22.89 acres from A (Agricultural)
to R4 (Residential) and a preliminary subdivision plat on the same
22.89 acres, with 52 single family lots for a gross density of 2.27
lots per acre.

The concerns of the public were: Subdivision compatibility,
traffic, safety of children, desire for separate entrance, using
cedar fence as a barrier-not acceptable, common areas not
acceptable, RV parking on lots, CC&R's different than Lexington.
The public hearing closed with the exception of the information
that will be forthcoming via a memo by the City Attorney regarding
the sewer situation. The public hearing closed at 9:45 p.m.
Moved by MAYER and seconded by FARNWORTH to continue this matter
until the next regularly scheduled meeting. AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
