EAGLE PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING MINUTES
January 23, 1995
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in special session on
January 23, 1995. Chairman BRADLEY presiding.
The following members were present:
NANCY MERRILL, RUSSEL MAYER.
BERT BRADLEY,
DONALD BRINTON,
Moved by BRINTON and seconded by MERRILL to approve the minutes of
the January 9, 1995 meeting as presented. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
Ada County Transmittal 94-73-PDR/94-41-ZC: Lost River Estates-
Planned Residential Development and Rezone: Mike Miller,
representative for the project, presented it to the Commissioners.
There was some opposition to the development. After considerable
discussion it was moved by MERRILL and seconded by MAYER to
recommend approval subject to the standard requirements and the
following:
1.
A single home owners association.
2.
An additional 3 ft of striped pavement for pathways along all
roadways.
3.
Incorporate street lights at all culdesacs and intersections.
4.
Submit a landscaping plan to the City Landscaping Committee, an
irrigation plan to the City Engineer and meet the City's
requirements for pathway along the Chevron pipeline as stated
in the Eagle Comprehensive Plan.
5.
Construct a pathway on dry creek canal to comply with the Eagle
Comprehensive Plan standards.
AYE: MERRILL, BRINTON, MAYER.
NAY:
BRADLEY.
MOTION CARRIED.
Comprehensive Plan Amendments review and discussion:
The proposal was outlined by the City Clerk.

Adding school data to the present Comprehensive Plan
Creating an urban service planning area by incorporating the
sewer boundaries and planning area; the Eagle Fire District
service area; and the water service area.
Mary Berent included that there are two applications for
Comprehensive Plan amendments, one for the Crandlemire property and
the other the 7 Mîle Inn property (to commercial zoning).
The Council report was given by Mary Berent.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 9:35 p.m.
