EAGLE pLANNING AND ZONING MEETING ~NUTES
MAY 16, 1994
The Eagle planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session on
May 16, 1994. Chairman SMITH presiding.
The following members were present: KEN SMITH, BERT BRADLEY,
DONALD BRINTON, MARY BERENT, NANCY MERRILL.
Moved by Berent and seconded by Merrill to approve the minutes of
the May 2, 1994 meeting with the following corrections:
1. Page 2, Smith did not vote and Bradley abstained.
ALL AYE:
MOTION CARRIED.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Amendments to Title 8 and 9 to establish lot sizes, coverage and
open space: (continued)
After considerable discussion including the possibility of common
areas or park land dedicated to the City for public use vs common
areas used only by the home owners within the subdivision, and
common area, open space and park areas defined, buildings in the
common areas and maximum lot coverage for open spaces a motion was
made by BRADLEY and seconded by MERRILL to continue the matter
until the Commission can clarify the items discussed. Meanwhile
John McFadden, Ken Smith, Stan Bastian, Stan McHutchinson and
Barbara Montgomery will meet to clarify the areas of concern and
return the matter to the Commission on June 6. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
Custom Masonry - rezone:

After discussion a motion was made by BRADLEY and seconded by
BERENT to recommend a rezone from R5 to C2 with a development
agreement in force. The development agreement is to return to P&Z
prior to implementation. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
A Planning and zoning Commission member, Barbara Montgomery, Zoning
Administrator and the City legal counsel will meet with Steve
Hiatt, the applicant to discuss the details of the agreement.
The Council report was given by Stan Bastian.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 9:50
p.m.
