BAGLZ PLARRING AIm ZONING MEETING
June 15, 1992
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session on
June 15, 1992. Chairman GERBER presiding.
The following members were present: LLOYD GERBER,
BERT BRADLEY, KEN SMITH. Absent: LOGAN BENNETT
PAULINE HINMAN,
Moved by BRADLEY and seconded by HINMAN to approve the minutes of
the June 1, 1992 meeting as presented. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
PUBLIC HEARING/Melvins Eagle Point Subdivision - Variances
Chairman GERBER announced that this was the time and place set for
a public hearing on Melvins Eagle Point, a variance application.
Applicant: Max Boesiger, Inc.
Location: Lots 38, 39,40,4l and 42 of block 2, M.E.P #4
Proposal: reduce the rear set back from 25 ft to 20 ft.
Public Testimony: no opposition testimony
Public hearing closed at 7:40 p.m.
Moved by SMITH and seconded by HINMAN to approve the variance
application based on the good faith effort of the developer to get
approval of the surrounding property owners in a spirit of
cooperation, there is no violation to the ECC or Comprehensive
Plan. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
FINDING OF FACT AND CONCLUSIONS OF LAW/TAYLOR - REZONE
Moved by BRADLEY and seconded by SMITH to approve the findings as
presented. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Ada County Transmittal: 92-28-PDR-AJA Acres Subdivision/Fraiser:
AJA Acres is in the Eagle Impact Area. The subdivision is an 8 lot
subdivision consisting of 5 or more acres for each lot. Discussion
took place regarding the road through the subdivision and
sewer/septic system.
Moved by BRADLEY and seconded by HINMAN to approve Ada County
Transmittal 92-28-PDR with 2 conditions:
1. the subdivision road must be a 50 ft. right of way street.
2. all septic tanks must be placed on the street side of the
home.
ALL AYE:
MOTION CARRIED.
EAGLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS, 1992:
Discussion took place regarding the revisions to the current 1990
Eagle Comprehensive Plan. Attending the meeting was Dennis Crooks,
Project Coordinator for APA, who presented the "Land Use Map" that
will accompany the revised comprehensive plan.
The Commissioners reviewed each page and the map. A motion was
made by HINMAN and seconded by BRADLEY to accept the plan with
changes made at this meeting and to schedule a public hearing for
