The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session on
May 18, 1992. Vice Chairman HINMAN presiding in Chairman GERBER'S
absence.
The following members were present:
HINMAN, BERT BRADLEY, KEN SMITH.
LOGAN BENNETT,
PAULINE
Moved by SMITH and seconded by BENNETT to approve the minutes of
the May 4, 1992 meeting as presented. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
PUBLIC HEARING/ D.W. Taylor-rezone
Vice Chairman HINMAN announced that this was the time and place set
for a public hearing on an application by D. W. Taylor, Hazel
Hurlbert and Les Cullen for rezone of lots 10,11,12,13 on Park Rd
from CBD to R5.
Applicant: listed above
Location: Lots 10, 11, 12, 13 Park
Proposal: rezone from CBD to R5
Public Testimony:
Opposed: Cliff VanHorn

In favor:
Linda Adams
Discussion: Mr. VanHorn claims to have ownership of the property
by way of a "Trust" and has objections to the rezone.
Moved by SMITH and seconded by BENNETT to continue the meeting
until the next scheduled meeting on June 1, 1992 in order to check
the legality of the claim of ownership of the property and to study
a map to determine the exact location of the properties. ALL AYE:
MOTION CARRIED.
Public hearing closed at 7:45 p.m.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law/Roundy Mobile Home Park-
CUP, BanBury Preliminary and Final Plat, Phase 5 and Eagle Rock
Subdivision Preliminary and Final Plat. Moved by BRADLEY and
seconded by SMITH to approve the findings and conclusions as
presented. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
NEW BUSINESS:
Ada County Transmittal: 92-26-CU/FERGUISON: Moved by BRADLEY and
seconded by BENNETT to approve the transmittal as presented.
Ada County Transmittal:
92-22-PDR/Larry Hellhake (Triple Ridge
Estates). Moved by BRADLEY and seconded by BENNETT to approve the
Ada County Transmittal for Triple Ridge Estates with the conditions
presented and that the emergency access be built to ACHD standards.
ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
FIRE DISTRICT discussion: Dan Friend, Eagle Fire Chief discussed
those items the Fire District would like to see in the upcoming
amendments to the comprehensive plan. The Commissioners proposed
an amendment to the Eagle City Code, Section 7-1D to update the
Uniform Fire Code to the 1992 standards and adopt the appendix
submitted by Dan Friend. The Commissioners asked the City Clerk to
