EAGLE PLARHIHG ARD ZONING MEETING
May 4,1992
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session on
May 4, 1992. Chairman GERBER presiding.
The following members were present: LLOYD GERBER, LOGAN BENNETT,
PAULINE HINMAN, BERT BRADLEY, KEN SMITH.
Moved by BRADLEY and seconded by HINMAN to approve the minutes of
the April 20, 1992 meeting as presented. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
PUBLIC HEARING/BanBury, Phase 5
Chairman GERBER announced that this was the time and place set for
a public hearing on BanBury, Phase 5, a replat of an existing
subdivision.
Applicant: The Hoff Companies, Inc.
Location: NW corner of Eagle Rd and Chinden
Proposal: to divide 1 lot into 2 lots (4.47

Moved by BRADLEY and seconded by HINMAN to recommend approval of
the replat as presented. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
PUBLIC HEARING/Eagle Rock Subdivision
Chairman GERBER announced that this was the time and place set for
a public hearing on Eagle Rock Subdivision a 4 lot subdivision.
BRADLEY abstained from proceedings because of personal association
with Dave Beggrow.
Applicant: Dave Beggrow
Location: intersection of Eagle Hills Way & N Edgewood Ln.
proposal: a 4 lot subdivision on 1.24 acres in an R5 zone

Concerns of the public: the lot has been an open area and rural
setting, were assured the area would remain open & concerns about
power lines, water pressure.
Public hearing closed at 8:05 p.m.
Moved by HINMAN and seconded by SMITH to recommend denial of the
proposed subdivision, to maintain as common area. AYE: BENNETT,
HINMAN, SMITH. MOTION CARRIED.
Roundy Mobile Home Park/Conditional Use Application (continued from
April 20, 1992)
After discussion of the Commission it was moved by SMITH and
seconded by BRADLEY to recommend approval of the CUP to Council.
Redwood Creek/annexation, zoning R1, 140 acres & subdivision
preliminary plat, 80 acres (continued from April 20, 1992)
Gary Madenford presented the preliminary plat to the Commission.
The plat has been altered by creating a 1 acre park lot (lot 22).
The Commissioners received letters from the following property
owners and asked they be entered into record as opposition:

Moved by SMITH and seconded by BRADLEY to recommend denial of the
annexation, zoning and subdivision preliminary plat for reasons
cited by public input. The motion was amended to include density
and the existing zoning Rural-Transitional as factors to the
recommendation, also there are no amenities in the subdivision.
ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Chairman GERBER initiated a discussion regarding the City Clerk
presenting the staff report prior to public hearings. Discussion
of the Commission abandoned the idea.
