EAGLE PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING
NOVEMBER 19, 1990
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session
on November 19, 1990. Chairman EASON presiding.
The following members were present: KEN TEWKSBURY, LLOYD
GERBER, LOGAN BENNETT, KATHRYN MCPEAK, PAULINE HINMAN.
Moved by TEWKSBURY and secondep by GERBER to approve the minutes
of the November 3, 1990 meeting with the following amendment,
that the minutes reflect that there is an estimated 3 children
per household instead of 300 children within a 150 lot
subdivision. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
PUBLIC HEARING/Dee Ann's Hair Design:
Chairman EASON announced that this was the time and place set for
a public hearing on a conditional use permit to establish a
beauty shop in a R5 district.
Applicant: Dee Ann Geisler
Location: 1336 E. State St. Eagle
Proposal: CUP for beauty shop in residential zone
Public Testimony: In Favor: Dee Ann Geisler, Fred
No opposition.
L. Mosier.
Public hearing closed at 7:40 p.m.
Moved by TEWKSBURY and seconded by HINMAN to approve the CUP with
the stipulation that there is sewer hook up by the sewer
district. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
NEW BUSINESS:
Ada County Transmittals: 90-17-ZC/Weiss
Discussion took place regarding the parcel and P&Z member
TEWKSBURY stated that the location was a volatile area, and
development there could cause a flow down effect. He stated
there should be a master plan for the area.
Moved by TEWKSBURY and seconded by GERBER to deny Ada County
Transmittal 90-17-ZC as presented based on the Eagle
Comprehensive Plan, page 11, Community Design, Policies and
Goals, (5). ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law/ Avante
Annexation/zoning. Moved by TEWKSBURY and seconded by GERBER to
approve the findings and conclusions as presented. ALL AYE:

REPORT given by Councilman Rick Yzaguirre regarding the City
Council's decision on public hearings for Higgins/CUP and
pope/rezone-variances.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 8:05
