EAGLE PlANNING ^ND ZONING MEETING
September 10, 1990
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session
on September 10, 1990. Chairman EASON presiding.
The following members were present: LLOYD GERBER, LOGAN
BENNETT, KATHRYN MCPEAK, LARRY CADWELL. ABSENT: TEWKSBURY.
Moved by GERBER and seconded by BENNETT to approve the minutes of
the August 20, 1990 meeting as presented. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
PUBLIC HEARING/Title 8 Amendments (continued)
Chairman EASON announced that this was the time and place set for
a public hearing on Title 8 amendments regarding the definition
of "bar" and "driveway".
There was no public testimony.
Public hearing closed at 8:05.
Moved by GERBER and seconded by BENNETT to define a driveway as
follows: Driveways: to provide access to no more than two (2)
dwelling units shall be allowed. AYE: GERBER, BENNETT.
ABSTAIN: MCPEAK, CADWELL.
Moved by GERBER and seconded by BENNETT to define a bar as
follows: Bar: An establishment for which a license under Title
3, Chapter 2, Article A,B, and/or C is required and the principal
business of which is the sale of alcoholic beverages to be
consumed on the premises. AYE: GERBER, BENNETT. ABSTAIN
MCPEAK, CADWELL.
NEW BUSINESS:
Ada County Transmittals:
Moved by GERBER and seconded by BENNETT to recommend approval of
Ada County Transmittal 90-47-PDR/Cameron with the recommendation
that all roads meet ACHD standards. AYE: GERBER, BENNETT.
ABSTAIN: MCPEAK, CADWELL. MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by GERBER and seconded by BENNETT to recommend approval of
Ada County Transmittal 90-49-PDR/Belliston with the
recommendation that roads meet ACHD standards and lot size meet
the City of Eagle Standards set forth in the Eagle Comprehensive
Plan 1990. AYE: GERBER, BENNETT. ABSTAIN: MCPEAK, CADWELL.
MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by GERBER and seconded by BENNETT to recommend approval of
Ada County Transmittal 90-47-PDR/Cameron with the recommendation
that all roads meet ACHD standards. AYE: GERBER, BENNETT.
ABSTAIN: MCPEAK, CADWELL. MOTION CARRIED.
ADA COUNTY AMENDMENT TO TITLE 8: The Planning and Zoning members
suggest that the amendment be forwarded to Mayor GUERBER for
comment. P&Z recommend that standards be required to provide
protection to the homeowner.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 8:45
p.m.
