EAGLE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 15, 1990 MEETING
The Eagle Planning and zoning Commission met in regular session
on January 15, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. Chairman SINCLAIR presiding.
Roll call showed the following members present:
BENNETT, GERBER, TEWKSBURY. Absent: EASON.
Moved by GERBER and seconded by TEWKSBURY to approve the minutes
of the December 18, 1989 meeting. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by TEWKSBURY and seconded by GERBER to add to the
annexation proposal a correction for recommendation to the Eagle
City Council. That Area 4A be added in the proposed annexable
areas, zoning A in the City of Eagle annexations. In the Highway
55 annexations the wording added check with the highway
department prior to development and add design review on areas
1,2,4,and 5. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.

SWANSON REZONE

There was no testimony in opposition.
Ron Marshall, representative for Mr. Swanson informed the
commissioners that the proposal for rezone is for the development
of 4 plexes and that the apartments would be 800-900 sq. st. and
would rent for $350. to $400. a month. Mr. Swanson will be
buying the property from Dianne Wells.
Public hearing closed at 7:55 p.m. Moved by TEWKSBURY and
seconded by GERBER to recommend approval of the rezone from R-5
to R-12.
ADA COUNTY AMENDMENT/AGRICULTURAL LAND: Ron Marshall has been
attending the Ada County public hearings regarding this
amendment. It covers 3 areas:

Rural Preservation: open area 1 dwelling per 40 acres
Rural Transitional: 1 dwelling per 10 acres
Rural Residential: impact areas 5 acre parcels
FINDINGS OF FACTS AND CONCLUSIONS OF LAW- EAGLE RIM ESTATES:
Moved by GERBER and seconded by TEWKSBURY. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.

Chairman SINCLAIR informed the commissioners that the next agenda
for P&Z on January 22nd. will include the setbacks in Title 8
section 2-4. The city clerk was asked to invite Larry Sale from
Briggs Engineering, the city engineer.
Moved to adjourn by TEWKSBURY and seconded by GERBER.
