EAGLE PLANNING AND ZONING
MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 3, 1988
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session
on October 3, 1988. Vice-Chairman WATSON presiding in Chairman
WILSON'S absence.
Roll Call showed the following members present:
NYBORG, WATSON. Absent: RUTLEDGE, SINCLAIR.
SMITH, EASON,
Moved by NYBORG and seconded by SMITH to approve the minutes as
presented. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
At the suggestion of MINOW, the Planning and Zoning Commission
would like to have a meeting with the Highway District and the
City Council regarding the Bypass project.
Motion by EASON and seconded by NYBORG to remove PT zone from the
district regulations and to be considered later, the bypass needs
to be included in the Comprehensive plan. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
Discussion of 2nd page of the District Regulations resulted as
follows:
CEMETERY:
To include "c" in the CA zone and "p" in M2 zone.

To include "c" in an -A- zone.
CAR WASH:
CHILD CARE FACILITY: Definition to omit the word
maintenance and substitute sustenance.
CHILD CARE FACILITY: To include (A) Family Day Care Home
section, listing (6) or fewer children; (B) Group Day Care
Facility, listing (7) to (12) children, (C) Day Care Center
for (13) or more.
(A) FAMILY DAY CARE: should be "p" under AR, Rand "c" in an
LO and C1. Group Day Care and Day Care Center should be
"c" in AR, R, LO, C1, zone.
CHURCH:
zones.
should be included as a tIc" in the AR zone and CA
CLUB (LODGE): "p" LO, CI, C2, C3, CBD.
CONVALESCENT HOME:
"c"
in R, LO, C1, zones.
CA Zone should be a tIc" for Cleaning, Laundry Agency, Club
(Lodge) Drive-in restaurant and electronic Sales, Service.

DANCE, MUSIC, VOICE STUDIO: add the words "Business for
training, instruction or recording of dance, music or
voice". "C" in LO, CA, CI, "p" in C2, C3 and CBD.
DRIVE-IN RESTAURANT:
CA.
Included in "p" in C1, tIc" in LO and
DRUG STORE: Definition, the dispensing of ethical
pharmaceutical drugs and medical supplies. Add "p" in C1.
ELECTRONICS SALES, SERVICE, AND REPAIR SHOP:
tIp" in C1, C2, C3.
"c" in CA and
ENTERTAINMENT FACILITY: Should include the word OUTDOOR,
and should include tIc" in the A, C1, C2, C3, zones.
EQUIPMENT RENAL AND SALES YARD: "c" should be included in
the CA, C1, zones.
FILM LABORATORY:
"c" in LO,CA, and "p" in C1, C2, C3, CBD.
FURNITURE REFINISHING: Is changed to combine furniture
refinishing and furniture shop to FURNITURE MANUFACTURING
and be included in the CA zone as tIc", and excluded in CBD
altogether.
GIFT SHOP:
Included as a "p" in the CA zone.
The remainder of the page will continue at the next P&Z meeting.
Moved by EASON and seconded by NYBORG to adjourn the meeting.
