MINUTES
APRIL 5, 1988
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session
on AprilS, 1988. Chairman WILSON presiding.
Roll call showed the following members present:
SINCLAIR, NYBORG, EASON. SMITH absent.
WATSON,
Moved by WATSON and seconded by NYBORG to approve the minutes of
the March 15, 1988 meeting with changes in paragraph 3 to read
AR, and not AR-5 or AG-5. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by NYBORG and seconded by EASON to establish a goal for an
"A", Agricultural District to maximize opportunities for
agricultural activi~ies, land and farm for the purpose of soil
cultivation, livestock, and commercial-agricultural comprising
of at least 20 contiguous acres all of which are under single
ownership to assure protection of the irrigation system and
surface water drainage from land use complex. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
Moved by EASON and seconded by SINCLAIR to establish a goal for
an "AR" , Agricultural-Residential district to provide for the
transition of Agricultural land no longer used for extensive
agricultural purposes, into residential areas while preserving
agricultural uses compatible with residential development.
Density will not exceed one single family dwelling unit per 5
acres. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by WATSON and seconded by EASON to establish an airport
district "CA" Commercial-Airport, to permit the establishment of
an airport which is compatible with other Eagle area districts.
ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by EASON and seconded by NYBORG to adjourn the meeting.
ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
