EAGLE PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING
SEPTEMBER 1, 1987
Eagle Planning and Zoning met in regular session, Tuesday,
September 1, 1987, Chairman WILSON presiding.
Roll call showed the following members present:
SINCLAIR, NYBORG, SMITH. HAMMONS absent.
WATSON, EASON,
Moved by WATSON and seconded by NYBORG to approve the minutes of
the August 4, 1987 meeting, as presented. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
Chairman WILSON declared that it was the time and the place for a
public hearing regarding EAGLE RIDGE SUBDIVISION.
Speaker representing Block Bros, Inc., Pat Tealey of Tealey
Surveyers. Mr. Tealey stated that the road in the subdivision
will be a public road, built to Ada County specifications. Those
specifications include a 40 foot right-of-way with 32 foot of
paving. Mr. Tealey advised the commission that Ada County does
require safety standards which will also have to be met. There
will have to be some variances on some of the lots in order to
meet all the standards required.
Chairman WILSON cited Eagle City Code, Section 9-2-4, and asked
for the copies of the final plat and engineering report. Mr.
Tealey advised the commission that they were not available at
this time. Mr. Wojcik requested a continuance for 30 days.
Moved by WATSON and seconded by SMITH to table the public hearing
until the next P&Z meeting on October 6, 1987, at which time all
the requirements of that section of the code be met. ALL AYE:
MOTION CARRIED.
ADA COUNTY HIGHWAY REPORT:
Moved by EASON and seconded by NYBORG to send a letter from the
City of Eagle to the Ada County Highway District stating the
following:

That the city recognizes the comments from the Mayor of Kuna
That P&Z requests a complete copy of the manuel
That P&Z requests a delay in comments for 45 days from the
date of the P&Z meeting after receiving the manuel, at which
time comments will be submitted in writing.
That the P&Z appreciates the opportunity to participate in
this important project.

Moved by EASON and seconded by NYBORG to add another session per
month to P&Z, making P&Z meet two times a month in order to take
up and complete projects such as the Comprehensive Plan and

Master Plan.
P&Z recommends to council that it consider a
compensation plan for the Zoning Administrator for attendance at
the additonal work sessions. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by EASON and seconded by WATSON to table the discussion on
the Boise River Plan until the next P&Z meeting. ALL AYE:
MOTION CARRIED.
