EAGLE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
JOINT MEETING WITH THE ADA COUNTY PLANNING & ZONING
COMMISSION
June 18, 2001

The Planning and Zoning Commission met in joint session with the Ada County
Planning & Zoning Commission on June 18,2001, Chairman Franden presiding.

CALL TO ORDER:

ROLL CALL: The following members were present FRANDEN, BLOOM, ,
NORDSTROM, CADWELL, absent DECKERS,
FICK, NEWTON, SIMMERMAN, KEHOE, MARQUART, absent
STORY and MOSER A quorum is present.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:
A. ZOA-3-01 & 01-02-Z0A - Ea2:le Area of City Impact: The City of Eagle
is proposing to amend Eagle City Code Title 8 "Zoning", Chapter 8 "Area of
City Impact", Section 3 "Applicable Plan Policies and Ordinances" to
recognize the 2000 Comprehensive Plan as the plan which applies in the
Eagle area of City impact and recognize that subdivision applications within
the Eagle area of City impact are to be submitted to the City for their
recommendation to the County for consideration.
At the same time, Ada County is proposing an amendment to Ada County
Code, Title 9, Chapter 2, Eagle Area of City Impact. The proposed
amendment will adopt the Eagle Comprehensive Plan as amended on July
18,2000, and amend text to provide that all subdivision plats within the
Eagle Area of City Impact shall be submitted to the City of Eagle for their
recommendation. No change to the area of city impact boundary is proposed
at this time.

Bill Vaughan Eagle City Staff, discusses the ordinance and the two changes that these
ordinances create.
Discussion.amongst Eagle Planning & Zoning Commission and Ada County Planning
& Zoning Commissions.
Franden opens the public hearing.
Franden closes the public hearing.
Marquart moves to approve 01-02-Z0A-Eagle Area of City Impact. Seconded by
Simmerman. ALL A YE...MOTION CARRIES.
Bloom moves to approve ZOA-3-01-Eagle Area of City Impact. Seconded by
Nordstrom. ALL AYE... MOTION CARRIES.

ADJOURNMENT: Franden moved to adjourn at 6:30 p.m. Seconded by
Bloom. ALL A YE...MOTION CARRIES...
