Minutes - 1985 - Planning & Zoning - 08/06/1985 - Regular EAGLE PLANNING & ZONING P.o. BOX 477 - EAGLE, IDAHO 83616 - PHONE 939-6813 August 6, 1985 The Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session on Tuesday, August 6, 1985, at the Eagle Elementary School Library, at 7:30 P.M. Those present were VOGT, STOVALL, SELTZER, WILSON, SMITHSON. Moved by WILSON and seconded by SELTZER to appoint VOGT to be acting Chairman. Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: STOVALL, SELTZER, WILSON, SMITHSON. Motion carried. Moved by SELTZER and seconded by WILSON to approve the minutes of the June 4, 1985 minutes as printed. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: SELTZER, STOVALL, WILSON, SMITHSON, VOGT. Motion carried. Acting Chairman VOGT announced that this was the time and the place as advertised as a public hearing on an application for a Conditional Use Permit/Variance for the Eagle United Methodist Church to allow for a temporary mobile classroom and to place that classroom within the rear yard setback. Public testimony was taken from the following: J. E. Blain, P. O. Box 1, Eagle - not in favor of the mobile classroom because it may become permanent. Eugene H. Benson, 3505 N. Eagle Road, Eagle - favorable Ken Tewksbury, 372 Mango, Eagle - favorable Reba Cullen, 245 Dawn St., Eagle - favorable Acting Chairman VOGT closed the public testimony portion of the hearing at 8:20 p.m. Moved by STOVALL and seconded by SMITHSON to recommend to the City Council for approval of the request for a Conditional Use Permit/Variance for the Eagle United Methodist Church, motion amended by STOVALL and seconded by SMITHSON to make the Conditional Use Pemrit/Variance good for there years from the date of occupancy of the classroom. Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: VOGT, SELTZER, WILSON, STOVALL, SMITHSON. Motion carried. Acting Chairman VOGT announced at 8:25 p.m. that this was the time and the place as advertised for a public hearing on amendments to three ordinances. There was no public testimony presented and the public testimony portion of the hearing was ------- - ~---~--- - --- closed at 8:26 p.m. Moved by WILSON and seconded by SELTZER to recommend to the City Council approval of Ordinance #97, 98, and 99. Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: VOGT, SMITHSON SELTZER, WILSON, STOVALL. Motion carried. Acting Chairman VOGT adjourned the meeting at 8:35 P.M. <...-
