June 1,1982 as printed.

Chainnan HILL armounced that this was the tirre and the place for a
public hearing to hear a request sutmi. tted by Irene Mutchler for a rezone fran
R-S to L-O Limited Office District for IDts 1,2,3 of Block 8 Carpenters 3rd
Addition.
Vicky Sherrill, 263 N. Eagle Road spoke to the conmission against the
rezone.
Frank Com, 247 N. Eagle Road asked the carnri.ssion what effect the rezone
would have on his property.
Jerry Garro, Eagle IdaOO spoke to the conmission in favor of the rezone.
A letter was read from Wayne Crosby, IdaOO Street, Eagle Idaho stating
his objections to the zone change.

hearing was declared closed.

llived by SHADE and seconded by ESCAL.ZWIE that this rezone application
be disapproved for the following reasons:
1.
Significant questions as to whether this rezone or change would
involve a change to our CXJIIq;>rehensive plan.
2.
A question as to the direction the City of Eagle is going -
that is if a rezone is good for that area why not rezone the
wrole street rather than just three lots of that street.
3.
We are rvw in the process of a conprehensi ve plan revision and
questions of this nature should be considered during this revision.

Stoppello sp:>ke to the corrmission roncerning a recent attorneys
opinion concerning the conprehensive plan.
Chainnan HILL announced that on August 3, 1982 the Eagle Planning and
ZOning Corrmission will start working on the corcprehensive plan.
Each rœmber
will study Purpose and Scope, Parks, Recreation and Open Space, Population,
and Public Services before that mæting.
