February 3, 1981
The regular meeting of the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission was
called to order by Chairperson Sharp at 7:30 P. M. on February 3,
1981 at the Eagle City Hall.
MEMBERS PRESENT: BROWNLEE, SHADE, SHARP, HILL, FISHER, SORENSON,
WAITE. ALLRED was excused.
Chairperson Sharp announced that nominations were open for Chairperson
for 1981.
Moved by SORENSON and seconded by BROWNLEE that Shari Sharp be nominated
as chairperson for the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission for 1981.
Moved by SHADE and seconded by SORENSON that the nominations be closed.
Roll call on the above motions resulted as follows: AYE: BROWNLEE,
SHADE, SHARP, HILL, FISHER, SORENSON, WAITE. Motion carried.
Moved by FISHER and seconded by WAITE that Jim Hill be nominated as
vice-chairman of the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission for 1981.
Moved by SORENSON and seconded by FISHER that the nominations be
closed. Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: BROWNLEE,
SHADE, HILL, FISHER, SORENSON, WAITE. Motion carried.
Chairperson Sharp announced that this was the time and the place for
a public hearing submitted by Marz for a rezone from R-l to C-1 for
a parcel of property on the north side of State Street west of
Edgewood Lane.
Faren Farnswroth, 1600 Riverside spoke against commercial development
in that location due to an added traffic problem.
A letter was read from Ralph and Barbara Wilder in favor of the rezone.
There being no further public testimony to come before the commission, the
hearing was declared closed.
Moved by SHADE and seconded by HILL that this matter be tabled until the
next regularly scheduled meeting,
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: BROWNLEE, SHADE,
HILL, FISHER, SORENSON, WAITE. Motion carried.
Chairperson Sharp announced that this was the time and the place
for a public hearing on an annexation request submitted by First
Renegade Adventure. The hearing will be on the following items:
1. Possible Comprehensive Plan changes. 2. Possible zoning
ordinance changes according to 67-6525 Idaho Code, and 3. Zoning
District Boundary changes and assigning zoning to the area in
question.
Terry Klein, representing the owners, spoke to the commission regarding
this application, and requested zoning of M-l.
Bob Ellis, Route #2 Riverside spoke in favor of the application.
Faren Farnsworth, 1600 Riverside spoke against the application.
There being no further testimony to come before the commission, the
public hearing was declared closed.

Moved by SHADE and seconded by SORENSON that this matter be tabled
until the next regularly scheduled meeting.

Moved by SHADE and seconded by HILL that the minutes of the previous
meeting of November 4, 1980 be approved as printed.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: BROWNLEE, SHADE, HILL, FISHER,
SORENSON, WAITE. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the commission, the
meeting was adjourned.
