November 1, 1977
The regular meeting of the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission
was called to order at 7:30 P. M. on November 1, 1977 by
Chairperson Sharp.
Brownlee and Drenker were absent.
Cliff Stephenson moved to correct the minutes of the previous
meeting to read that the public hearing on the comprehensive
plan was held November 1, 1977 at 7:30 P. M. Lois Kunkler
seconded the motion.
A public hearing was held on the comprehensive plan. Chair-
person Sharp stated the generalities of the comprehensive
plan in capsule form, then introduced Gre Siebert of the
Ada Planning Association who gave a general idea of community
design for the future of Eagle.
At the close of the public hearing Andy Pollard moved that
further consideration by the planning and zoning commission
of the comprehensive plan be postponed and that a special
meeting be called by the chairman for the purpose of further
reviewing the comprehensive plan. Cliff Stephenson seconded
the motion.
Russ Burtner, J. U. B. Engineer, presented the commission
with a tentative subdivision plat of Eagle Village Subdivision
#2 which would consist of 56 lots on 14.4 acres with a density
of 3.89 units per acre.
Ken Marima presented the commission with a tentative sub-
division plat of Eagle village Addition which includes 1.42
acres, and he is requesting 4 duplex lots.
Cliff Stephenson moved that the planning and zoning commission
recommend to the city council that the Eagle City Ordinance
Number 35 be revoked immediately because it is in conflict
with the comprehensive plan and the flood plain areas have not
been clearly defined by the Army Corps of Engineers. Gary
Walker seconded the motion.
The secretary of the commission was instructed to write a
letter to the Army Corps of Engineers including a new map
of the boundrys of the incorporated city requesting them
to delineate flood plain and way lines as soon as possible.

A subdivision committee meeting will be held November 30,
1977 at 7:30 at Andy Pollard's house.
A special meeting of the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission
will be held November 10, 1977 at 7:30 P. M. to review the
Comprehensive Plan.
There being no further business to come before the commission,
the meeting was adjourned.
