Joint Meeting Minutes
December 21, 2010
The Parks and Pathways Development Commission and the Development Impact Fee Advisory
Committee met in a joint meeting on December 21, 2010, at Eagle City Hall, Chairman Talbert
presiding.
1.CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM.
2.ROLL CALL: Present – Aaron, McColl, Talbert and Zollinger. Absent – Barton, Brown-Olson,
Ferguson, Stockton and Walker. Vern Brewer, City Engineer, was also in attendance.
Due to the absence of a quorum, no official meeting was conducted.

The following items were discussed by those in attendance:

There were 197 responses to the survey. Two were disregarded as obvious prank
responses.

Amy will provide a written synopsis of the survey, Mary will offer her assistance.

Discussion on using canals for pathway access. Prior discussions with canal officials did not
allow for use of them, but it may be worth revisiting.

Survey exploration will include: adding canal access, feasibility of dog parks, a plan to
present the survey results to the City Council, a plan to utilize volunteers from the survey
results, Capital Improvement Plan developed with the aid of the survey results.

Due to meeting conflicts, the January meeting will be held on January 11 at 6:00 to review

and discuss the survey results. The next meeting will be held on February 1 to confer with
Council Liaison Huffaker on the presentation to City Council.

Vern Brewer, City Engineer, presented a draft map for pathway discussion. He gave copies
to those in attendance and told them to mark them up with any ideas or changes or
corrections.
