DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Minutes
July 6, 2010
The Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee met in a special meeting on July 6, 2010, at
Eagle City Hall, Chairman Talbert presiding.
1. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 7:20 PM.
2. ROLL CALL: Present - Ferguson, McColl, Talbert and Zollinger. Absent - Barton and
Stockton. Council Liaison Huffaker was unavailable as he was attending a budget meeting.
3. DISCUSSION ITEMS:
A. Review of candidate resumes for recommendation of appointments. With the
resignation of Michael Hummel and further clarification on the statute requirements, the
DIFAC is in need of two more members. After initial advertising for interested candidates
brought no results, the members took it upon themselves to recruit interested parties. Mr.
Jay Walker and Ms. Connie Brown Olson have agreed to assist the committee, their
resumes and qualifications were discussed.
Motion was made by Ferguson and seconded by Zollinger to recommend the City Council
appoint Walker and Olson to the Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee. ALL
AYES. MOTION CARRIED.
4. REPORTS:
A. Staff: Vern Brewer, City Engineer, reported that he is gathering and receiving the
information he needs to move forward with the impact fee study.
B. Commission Members: Items to help with the study were requested.
5. ADJOURNMENT:
Motion was made by Zollinger and seconded by McColl to adjourn. ALL AYES. MOTION
CARRIED. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 PM.
