Joint Meeting Minutes
July 26, 2018
1. CALL TO ORDER: Pittman calls the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: GOLD, PITTMAN, MITCHELL. Absent: Bastian. Bastian arrives
at 5:11pm. All present. A quorum is present. DESIGN REVIEW BOARD ROLL
CALL: GRUBB, SAYER, BAER, GERMANO, KOCI. ABSENT: Brasher,
Schafer. A quorum is present. Schafer arrives at 5:20 pm.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Pittman leads the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. GENERAL DISCUSSION:
A. The Board's role in a project that has been denied by the City Council.
Discussion on how applications are processed if denied by the Design Review
Board but then approved by city council, who's involved with sign off of these
projects and are they being required to continue on with changes desired by the
Design Review Board?
B. The Board's role in small City projects.
Should city projects run through the Design Review Board process, such as park
design, colors, etc.
C. The Board's input on Development Agreements.
Discussion on development agreements. Would it be possible to add stronger
language to make it clear that they must comply with Design Review Board
recommendations?
5. ADJOURNMENT:
Bastian moves to adjourn at 5:57 pm. Seconded by Pittman. ALL
AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
