A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE EAGLE PLANNING FEE AND DEPOSIT SCHEDULE
IN ACCORDANCE WITH EAGLE CITY CODE SECTION 1-7-4 AND ADOPTING A FEE
SCHEDULE FOR CITY FEES IN ACCORDANCE WITH EAGLE CITY CODE SECTION 1-
7-5; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, public notice for a public hearing for these fees has been published in the
Idaho Statesman as required by Idaho Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council duly noticed and held a public hearing on fee increases that
are in excess of five percent (5%) of the amount of the fee last collected and the decision to
impose new fees previously not collected by the City;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that good cause exists for updating the
Eagle Planning Fee and Deposit Schedule for land use planning actions;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that good cause exists for establishing a fee
schedule for city fees; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish an administrative fee to assist in
offsetting the costs associated with administering refuse and weed abatement activities within the
city;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO:
Section 1: That the 2017 Eagle Planning Fee & Deposit Schedule attached hereto as Exhibit A
and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby approved with changes shown with underline
text to be added and changes shown with strike -through text to be deleted;
Section 2: That the newly established Fee Schedule For City Fees attached hereto as Exhibit B
and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby approved;
Section 3: That the Mayor and City Council are hereby authorized to execute said schedules for
and on behalf of the City of Eagle;
Section 4: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption and
approval.

1: All applications are subject to ECC 1-7-4: any direct costs incurred by the City in obtaining a review of the application by
attorneys, architects, engineers or other professionals necessary to enable the City to approve or disapprove the application
shall be paid for by the applicant.
2: When using a DA in lieu of a PUD the PUD fees still apply.
3: Cash Payment in lieu of a Letter of Credit or Certificate of Deposit for surety does not require the $250.00 surety
4: a) Zoning Permit is applied for at time of building permit application; b) Zoning Permit is applied for as part of the Home
Occupation Permit and is required before issuance of a business license; c) Zoning Permit is required prior to the submittal of
a building permit or a business license.
5: Arequest for mediation is not guaranteed and must be agreed to by the City Council.
