SUBJECT: Burlington Environmental Collection Service Agreement
BACKGROUND:
This household hazardous waste collection program has been in place for the past 17 years. It is a
cooperative effort between Ada County, Boise City and our hazardous waste management firm,
Burlington Environmental, LLC ("Burlington"). Burlington operates our collection sites and
Ada County's permanent facility. This Agreement must be renewed on an annual basis and is
signed by Ada County, City of Boise, and Burlington.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Adequate funds are available in the solid waste budget to cover operation of the City's
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING A HOUSEHOLD AND CONDITIONALLY EXEMPT
SMALL QUANTITY GENERATOR HAZARDOUS MATERIAL COLLECTION
SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOISE CITY AND BURLINGTON
ENVIRONMENTAL, LLC; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
RESPECTIVELY EXECUTE AND ATTEST SAID AGREEMENT; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOISE
CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the Household and Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator
Hazardous Material Collection Service Agreement, between the city of Boise City and
Burlington Environmental, LLC, attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by
reference, be, and the same is hereby, approved as to both form and content.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they hereby are, authorized to
respectively execute and attest said Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Boise City.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
