Ordinance - 1980 - 57 - Adopt Uniform Building Codes And Standards - 08/12/1980ORDINANCE NO. 51 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE REGULATING THE ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT, ALTERATION, REPAIR, MOVING, REMOVAL, DEMOLITION, CONVERSION, OCCUPANCY, EQUIPMENT, USE, HEIGHT, AREA AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL BUILDINGS AND/OR STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF EAGLE; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND COLLECTION OF FEES THEREFOR: PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF: REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 32, SECTION 1 OF THE CITY OF EAGLE AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF THF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That certain documents, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk and the City of Eagle; being marked and designated as "Uniform Building Code" (and "Uniform Building Code Appendix), 1979 edition, and the "Uniform Building Code Standards," 1979 edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, be and the same is hereby adopted as the code of the City of Eagle for regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use,height, area and maintenance of all buildings and/or structures in the City of Eagle providing for issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; providing penalties for violation of such code; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of such "Uniform Building Code, 1979 edition, and the "Uniform Building Code Standards," 1979 edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, on file in the office of the City of Eagle are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this ordinance. Section 2. That Ordinance No. 32, Section 1 of the City of Eagle and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published. Section 4. That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance is, for any reason, held to be unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The Mayor and City Council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance, and each section, subsection, clause or phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses and phrases be declared unconstitutional. Section 5. That this ordinance shall be and is hereby declared to be in full force and effect, from after its passage and approval. est: iter CITY OF EAGLE ORDINANCE N0.57 ADOPTING 1979 ADDITION OF UNIFORM BUILDING CODE - AND UNIFORM BUILDING CODE STANDARDS Ordinance No. 57 is an Ordinance for the City of Eagle, adopting by reference the 1979 additions of the Uniform Build- ing Code and Uniform Building. Code standards. The Ordinance regulates the erection, construction, enidrgement, al- teration, repair, moving, removal, de- molition, conversion, occupancY, equip- ment, use, height, area and mainte- nance of all buildings and/or structures in the City of Eagle, and provides for the issuance of permits and collection of fees, and provides for penalties for violations. This Ordinance repeals Ordi- nance No. 32, Section 1 of the City of Eagle, and any other ordinances in con- flict therewith. Ordinance No. 57 of the City of Eagle shall be in full . force -and effect on the first day after its passage, approval and Publication.
