AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF THE AREA
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TO THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY,
IDAHO, AS PROVIDED BY SECTION 50-222, IDAHO CODE, AS
AMENDED,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Eagle, Ada County, Idaho as follows:
Section 1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED that the following described
real property shall become hereafter property within the
City of Eagle, Ada County, Idaho, to -wit:
The N 1/2 of the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4
in Section 17, T.4N., R.1E., B. M., excepting that part
of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said Section 17 lying
South of the right of way used for a road.
AND
Lots 6, 7 and 8 and the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Section
17, T.4N., Range 1E., B. M. Excepting the following
described parcel:
Commencing at the corner of sections 16-17-20-21,
T. 4N., R 1 E., of B. B. & M., thence West along the
section line between section 17-20 a distance of 10.21 chains
to a point; Thence North a distance of 0.26 chains to a
point; Thence East a distance of 10.21 chains to a point;
Thence South a distance of 0.26 chains to the place of
beginning, said strip of land being 17 feet wide. Also
the following:
Commencing at a point on the section line between
sections 17-20 a distance of 10.21 chains West of the corner
of section 16-17-20-21, T. 4 N., R 1 E., of B. B. & M.
Thence N 39°25' W a distance of 1.42 chains to a point;
Thence N 51°52' W a distance of 2.50 chains to a point;
Thence N 83°57' W a distance of 6.00 chainsto a point;
Thence S 67°49' W a distance of 5.00 chains to a point;
Thence N 66°40' W a distance of 18.22 chains to a point;
Thence N a distance of 0.63 chains to a point; Thence
S 66°40' E a distance of 18.22 chains to a point; Thence
S 67°49' E a distance of 5.00 chains to a point; Thence
S 83°57' E a distance of 6.00 chains to a point; Thence
S 51°52' E a distance of 2.50 chains to a point; Thence
S 39°25' E a distance of 1.42 chains to a point; Thence
South a distance of 0.63 chains to the place of beginning
all in Section 17, T. 4N., R 1 E., of B. B. & M. the
same being a right of way for a road to be two rods wide.
AND ALSO EXCEPTING THE FOLLOWING:
Commencing at the SW corner of the SE 1/4 of Section
17, T. 4N., R. 1E., B. M., and running thence North 35 rods
thence in a straight line in a SErly direction to the SE
corner of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 17; thence
West on section line to place of beginning.
Section 2.
That the City Clerk shall cause one (1) copy of the
legal description and map which shall plainly and clearly
designate the boundaries as altered, to be filed with the
Ada County Recorder, Ada County Assessor, and the State Tax
Commission within 10 days following the effective day of
this ordinance.
Section 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as required
by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the ayor
of the cl4y of Eagle, Ada County, Idaho this 5
