Town Hall Meeting
January 30, 2017
1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Ridgeway calls the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: KUNZ, BASTIAN, PRESTON, SOELBERG. All present. A quorum
is present.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Ridgeway leads the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Resolution 17-03: Approval of State and Local Agreement for Dry Creek Trail
construction between Idaho Transportation Department and the City of Eagle: (SR)
Mayor introduces the issue.
Preston moves to approve Resolution 17-03. Seconded by Bastian. Discussion. ALL
AYES: MOTION CARRIES.........
5. TOWN HALL MEETING:
The City of Eagle is pleased to invite all Eagle residents to attend the town hall meeting. The
Mayor and City Council welcome your input and look forward to answering any questions
that you may have.

Like what's happening? Great! Let us know!
Have a concern ... we want to hear those as well!
We wish this to be an open discussion inspired by the interests of all of the people of our
wonderful community. Stop by to visit with your elected officials.
Out of courtesy for all who wish to speak, each speaker should limit their presentation to
three (3) minutes. If time permits, and after all attendees who wish to address the City
Council have done so, the City Council may invite rebuttals or engage in additional
discussions with the attendees.
Each speaker is to be treated with the utmost respect, courtesy and afforded the right to speak
without interruption. The intent of our town hall meeting is to create a friendly community
spirited forum where by the Eagle community may express their views openly and freely.
May we suggest this is a gathering of neighbors openly speaking with neighbors, and we hope
everyone will feel welcome to participate.
Mayor introduces the issue.
Discussion on the following:
Future recreation center in the Master plan;
Emergency Operations Plan;
Construction permit that was issued off the river in regards to the Eagle Nest;

The snow piles located at the back parking lot of the Senior Center and can the snow be
removed;
The RC Track that is going and the bathroom facility, storage room and concession stand;
The Dog Park, one of the locations is Eagle Island State Park;
Eagle Island State Park;
The snow plowing in Banbury subdivision and what are the plans for the City to have more
equipment to take care of the streets;
Formation of ACRD;
Widening of Chinden Blvd;
The purchase of Orville Jackson house;
Population for buildout in Eagle;
Component that would be in the Strategic Plan that Council is going to be discussing at a
future meeting;
Convention of States representative discusses what the group represents.
6. ADJOURNMENT:
Mayor: I would like to wrap this up so if there are no further questions, I would
entertain a Motion to adjourn. So moved by Bastian. Seconded by Kunz. ALL AYES:
MOTION CARRIES.....................
Hearing no further business, the Council meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
