AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 11, SECTION 2 OF THE
EAGLE CITY CODE DESIGNATING THE IDAHO STATESMAN AS THE
OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle, Idaho is a municipal corporation organized and
operating under the laws of the State of Idaho; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, as follows:
Section 1. Title 1, Chapter 11, Section 2 of the Eagle City Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Pursuant to the provisions of section 50-213, Idaho Code, the ` Valley '1".m es" and _the
"Idaho Statesman" is whereby designated the official newspapers of the City and such
ordinances, notices and publications as are required by law to be given publication in the
newspaper shall be published in said " � and "Idaho Statesman."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective as of the date of its passage, approval
and publication.
