AN ORDINANCE AMENDING EAGLE CITY CODE TITLE 8 "ZONING", CHAPTER 8
"AREA OF CITY IMPACT", SECTION 1, OF THE AREA OF CITY IMPACT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
Whereas the Eagle City Council and the Ada County Commissioners entered into negotiations
and resolved through the public hearing process, to amend the Eagle Area of City Impact to
follow the centerline of the new alignment of State Highway 55 in the vicinity of Beacon Light
Road as described in attached Exhibit "A";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Eagle, Idaho as follows:
Section 1: That Eagle City Code Section 8-8-1, be, and the same hereby is, amended
to read as follows:
8-8-1: The Eagle Area of City Impact is the area designated on the Eagle Area of City Impact
Boundary Map, fully incorporated by reference and established by Ordinance Nos. 122, 275, and
317copies of which are available at the Eagle City Hall and the Ada County Development
Services Department.
The map amendment provided for with this ordinance is shown on the attached Exhibit "A".
Section 2: That this Ordinance, or a summary thereof in compliance with Section 50-
901A, Idaho Code, shall be published once in the official newspaper of the City, and shall take
effect immediately upon its passage, approval, and publication.
Approved and adopted this 10`h day of March, 1998.
