Ordinance - 1998 - 326 - Amending Title 5 Police Regulations/Parking - 08/25/1998ORDINANCE # 326 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY IDAHO, AMENDING EAGLE CITY CODE, TITLE 5, "POLICE REGULATIONS", CHAPTER 3, "PROHIBITED PARKING", SECTION 2, "PARKING TICKETS AND PROCEDURES", AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, Ada County, Idaho, 5-3-2 (B): 1. Within seventy two (72) hours of the time the ticket was left upon the vehicle, pay to the City Clerk, in full satisfaction of the parking violation, four dellcrs-($4.00) five dollars ($5.00) for each parking ticket left upon his/her vehicle. 2. Within ten (10) days from the date a parking ticket was issued, if the parking ticket has not been paid within the seventy two (72) hours prescribed above, pay to the City Clerk an additional pec dlars-(3.00) five dollars ($5.00) for each parking ticket, the additional 9) -five dollars ($5.00) for each ticket being deemed necessary to defray administrative and clerical expenses. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect and be enforce from and after its passage, approval, and publication as required by law. The proposed parking ticket fees, may exceed 105% of prior fees, and to explain the reasons for such fees.
