A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, ESTABLSIHNG A NEW FEE FOR
COMMERCIAL OCCUPANCY PERMITS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a public notice for a public hearing for such fees has been published in The
Valley Times as required by Idaho Code §63-1311A; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City that new businesses planning to occupy existing
commercial space, with no proposed change of use or proposed structural changes, shall obtain a
Certificate of Occupancy prior to business opening to the public; and
WHEREAS, it is the duty of the City to ensure businesses comply with zoning and
building code to preserve public health and safety; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and after holding the aforementioned
public hearing, to establish the fees,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO as follows:
Section 1: That the City of Eagle hereby establishes a commercial occupancy permit fee
in the amount of $50.00.
Section 2: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect the first day of the month
immediately following the month of passage.
ADOPTED by the Eagle City Council, Eagle, Idaho, this 1� day of September, 2016.

CITY OF EAGLE
In accordance with Idaho State Code 63-1311A, legal notice is hereby given that the EAGLE CITY
COUNCIL will hold a public hearing on September 27, at 6:30 P.M. at Eagle City Hall , 660 E. Civic Lane,
Eagle, Idaho. The purpose of the hearing is to consider establishing a commercial occupancy fee for new
tenants intending to occupy existing commercial property space with no proposed change of use and no
proposed structural changes. The proposed fee is $50.00.
Public testimony is encouraged at the public hearing. WRITTEN COMMENTS must be submitted no less
than five (5) working days prior to the day on which the public hearing is scheduled. Qualified individuals
who need accessible communication aids and services or other accommodations to participate in programs
and activities are invited to make your needs and preferences know to the 504.'ADA Coordinator (Eagle City
Clerk), 208-939-6813. Please give us at least three to five days advanced notice so we can adequately meet
