To the honorable Sharon Bergmann, City Clerk for the City of Eagle: 2014 P M

We, the undersigned citizens and registered electors of the City of Eagle, respectfully demand that Mary
McFarland, holding the office of Council Member, of the City of Eagle, be recalled for the following reasons, to -wit:
WHEREAS Council Member Mary McFarland was elected to serve and represent the best interests of the
entire citizenry of Eagle, not merely those select interests with whom she agrees;
WHERAS these duties have not been fulfilled
WHEREAS during her tenure in office, Ms. McFarland has repeatedly violated the open meeting laws;
WHERAS Ms. McFarland has been openly rude and disrespectful to members of the public as well as other
City Council Members during Eagle City Council meetings;
WHEREAS Ms. McFarland has interrupted public testimony and openly criticized citizens who engage in
their civic right;
WHEREAS we believe that Ms. McFarland has a narrow view of her constituency that does not reflect the
true views of the citizens of Eagle;
WHEREAS we the undersigned, have lost confidence in Council Member McFarland's willingness and
ability to execute the duties and responsibilities of her position without allowing the interference of
outside interests detrimental to the City of Eagle.
THEREFORE, Council Member McFarland must be replaced by someone who will listen to and respect the citizens
of Eagle; that a special election therefore be called; that we, each for himself say: I am a registered elector in the
City of Eagle, my residence, address, including city, and the date I signed this petition are correctly written after my
name.
