ORDINANCE NO. 396
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, AMENDING EAGLE CITY
CODE 2-1-6 TO PROVIDE PAYMENT TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION FOR REGULAR AND SPECIAL COMMITTEE MEETINGS AND
REPEALING A PORTION OF THAT SECTION THAT AUTHORIZES HIRING
PERSONNEL; AMENDING EAGLE CITY CODE 2-2 BY ADDING 2-2-5
ESTABLISHING A PAYMENT TO THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD FOR
ATTENDING REGULAR AND SPECIAL BOARD MEETINGS;AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Eagle Mayor and City Council have the power to appoint Boards
and Committees and provide payment of actual and necessary expenses and per diem for
such members pursuant to Sections 50-201, Ike -Fede and 67-6504 (a)-, Idaho Code.
WHEREAS, the Eagle Mayor and City Council acknowledge and appreciate that
persons appointed to Boards and Commissions incur expenses for their participation and
desire to desire to establish a payment schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EAGLE MAYOR AND
CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Eagle City Code 2-1-6 is amended as follows:
EXPENDITURES AND EXPENSE PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
Any expenditure of the Commission (exclusive of gifts) shall be within the amounts
appropriated and set aside by the City Council for the Commission. Within such'im t ,

Each member of the Commission shall receive payment for their actual and necessary
expenses and per diem in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each regular
Commission meeting attended and twenty dollars ($20.00) for each special meeting
attended. No Commission member mav receive in excess of thirteen hundred dollars
($1.300.00) during anv fiscal year. The City Council reserves the richt to refuse to
appropriate such expenditures or reduce them in anv budget vear. Whereby this expense
payment schedule mav be amended by Resolution of the City Council at anv time.
Section 2: Eagle City Code 2-2 is amended by adding a new section 2-2-5 as follows:
EXPENSE PAYMENT SCHEDULE: Each member of the Design Review Board shall
