A special meeting for the purpose of holding a public hearing
to receive public testimony on the application by the City for
a Community Development Block Grant was held at the Eagle City
Hall, on Wednesday, March 27, 1985.
Mayor HALEY opened the meeting at 7:40 P.M. by explaining the
purpose of the application for the grant and the need for a
Community Center/Senior Citizens Center and City Hall.
Roll call showed the following council members present: WALKER,
STOPPELLO, MAILE.
There was no unfavorable testimony received and the following
people testified in favor of the application:
C. L. "Doc" House - 350 E. State Street, Eagle
Wayne Crosby - 153 Idaho Street, Eagle
Bessie Clark - 106 Wildflower Lane, Eagle
Thomas F. Dixon - Manager, Idaho First National Bank, Eagle
Jim Heath - 279 Mission, Eagle
Public testimony ended at 8:05 P.M. and it was moved by STOPPELLO
and seconded by WALKER to approve the application for a Community
Development Block Grant for a Senior Citizens/Community Center and
City Hall. Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE:
STOPPELLO, WALKER, MAILE. Motion carried.
Mayor HALEY adjourned the meeting at 8:15 P.M.
