Minutes - 1984 - City Council - 11/13/1984 - RegularPage 37 CITY OF EAGLE COUNCIL MINUTES NOVEMBER 13, 1984 The Council met in regular session on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 1984, at 7:30 p.m., at the Eagle City Hall. Roll call showed the following members present: STOPPELLO, WALKER, MAILE, GUERBER. Mayor HALEY presiding. Moved by MAILE and seconded by GUERBER to approve the minutes of the October 9, 1984 council meeting as printed. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: STOPPELLO, WALKER, MAILE, BUERBER. Motion carried. Reports were given by GUERBER on the Boise River Study, Councilman MAILE reported that there would be no APA meetings until December, and Councilman WALKER reported on a meeting he attended with the Eagle Business Association members. Liz Radosavich and Mike Twitchill from the Air Quality Board addressed the council about the progress of the Auto Emissions Control program. Julie Parker and J. J. Howard addressed the Council about a possible Planned Unit Development or Subdivision called Eagle Rim Estates. They were told to develop definite plans and submit an application to the City. Ron Marshall, Design Review Chairman, presented DR#9-83 - Adventure Land Video for sign approval. Moved by WALKER and seconded by STOPPELLO to accept the recommendation of the Design Review Com- mittee and approve the signs for Adventure Land Video. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: STOPPELLO, WALKER, MAILE, GUERBER. Motion carried. Moved by STOPPELLO and seconded by WALKER for consent to add Design Review #10-84 to the agenda. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: STOPPELLO, WALKER, MAILE, GUERBER. Motion carried. Design Review #10-84 for Esco Inc. was presented by Mr. Marshall. The council reviewed the Design for a Commercial Complex at the corner of State Street and Eagle Meadows. Moved by STOPPELLO and seconded by WALKER to approve the Design Review for Esco#10-84 as it applies to the building with the understanding that a Master Sign Plan will be submitted at a later date for Design Review approval. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: STOPPELLO, WALKER, MAILE, GUERBER. Motion carried. Mayor HALEY called for a special meeting on November 27, 1984, in order to have a public hearing for the Carpenter Variance and review a Design Review Application for Circle K. Moved by GUERBER and seconded by STOPPELLO for consent to Page 38 add the question of a fire hydrant on Second Street to the agenda. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: STOPPELLO, WALKER, MAILE, GUERBER. Motion carried. Moved by GUERBER and seconded by MAILE that the City of Eagle provide funds to install a fire hydrant in conjunction With construct- ion of the existing water system around Second street off of State Street, in a sum not to exceed $1,500.00. Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: STOPPELLO, WALKER, MAILE, GUERBER. Motion carried. Moved by WALKER and seconded by STOPPELLO to approve the claims against the City. Roll call on the motion resutled as follows: AYE: STOPPELLO, WALKER, MAILE, GUERBER. Motion carried.
