Minutes - 1983 - City Council - 02/08/1983 - Regular(8) CITY OF EAGLE COUNCIL MINUTES FEBRUARY 8, 1983 The council met in regular session on Tuesday, 8, 1983, at Eagle City Hall. Acting Mayor Carol Haley in the absence of Mayor Deckard. February presiding Roll Call showed the following members present: STOPPELLO, WALKER, HALEY. DECKER, Moved by DECKER and seconded by STOPPELLO to approve the minutes of the meeting of January 25, 1983 as printed. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: STOPPELLO, WALKER, DECKER. Motion carried. Acting Mayor HALEY explained the need to replace more of the windows at the Senior Citizens Center. As there was no objection from the Council and there is appropriated money left for the project, the windows will be replaced. Councilman STOPPELLO announced that the Planning and Zoning Commission was ready for a working session with the City Council on the Comprehensive Plan. The meeting was scheduled for March 15, 1983 at 7:30 P.M., at the Eagle Elementary School The Council reviewed the "Findings of Fact" on the Mathews 81-1-LUE. Moved by STOPPELLO and seconded by DECKER to adopt the "Findings of Fact" on the Mathews 81-1-LUE, except for a word change on Page 2 Paragraph 6. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: STOPPELLO, WALKER, DECKER. Motion carried. Councilman STOPPELLO made a request for a unanimous consent to allow Mr. Kirby Vicker of J.U.B. Engineering, representing the Eagle Sewer District, to be placed on the agenda. Acting Mayor HALEY hearing no objections, directed the clerk to place Mr. Vicker on the agenda. Mr. Vicker addressed the tion of the new sewage treatment for Agricultural use. council concerning the construc- plant on land presently zoned Moved by STOPPELLO and seconded by DECKER that the City Council recommend that the Administrator, the Mayor, upon proper application by the Eagle Sewer District, allow a sewage treatment plant to be permitted within a zoning district A (agricultural), pursuant to the powers in the Zoning Ordinance #40, Article V, Section B. and subject to: Compliance with the conditional uses process contained in Article X1 of the Zoning Ordinance. Application by the City to the zoning ordinance uses. Attorney for an amendment for public and quasi-public Compliance with provisions of Eagle"s floodplain ordinance, Ordinance No. 82, as now in effect or as may hereafter be amended. (9) Roll Call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, STOPPELLO, WALKER. Motion carried. Moved by DECKER and seconded by WALKER to approve the claims against the City.
