SPECIAL 5~EETING
March 17, 1987
Special meeting o~ the Eagle City Council, Tuesday, March 17,
1987, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. Special meeting called in
regards to the Senior Citizen/Community Center contracts of
the Engineer and Architect.
Those Councilmembers present were: GUERRER, 5LATLOCK, ROGERS.
Mayor HALEY presiding. ~INOW absent from the meeting.
Motion to approve the Architect's contract for the Center by
GUERBER as presented and approved by the City Attorney. Motion
seconded by ROGERS. Roll call on the motion is as follows: AYE:
GUERBER, M~.TLOCK, ROGERS. MOTION CARRIED.
Discussion reoardin~ the Center re~ardinq opening bi~s to be
published again. Carlyle Briggs sugoested that the date of publication
of bids will be in ADril, that the project would begin in May and
completed in September of 1988. The audit would then begin in
March of 1988.
It was discussed that rather than re-publish that there be an
addendum which would be a less expensive route to take.
The new expenditure budget was presented to council by Carlyle
Brings. Council is requestin~ a revenue budget to be presented to
them in order to assure the f easability o~ the new plans enlar~in~
the building as far as ~inancin~ available to complete the project
without excess revenue that is not available.
The Engineerinq contract is to be reviewed and taken into consideration
at the next regular council meeting, unless it is established that there
will be a special meetinq in order to obtain the accounting of the
revenue portion o~ the budget prior to the set ~ate of council.
