Resolution - 2021 - 21-14 - Acceptance Of 6.22 Acres For Pamela Baker Park - 09/28/2021 RESOLUTION NO. 21-14 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, CONFIRMING AND ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF A 6.22 ACRE PARCEL OF LAND FROM THE CITY BOISE TO THE CITY OF EAGLE AS RECORDED IN INSTRUMENT #075352 IN ADA COUNTY, IDAHO AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the parcel of land is immediately adjacent to the Eagle City Limits; WHEREAS, Idaho Code Section 50-14 provides that cities shall have the authority to manage real property in ways which the judgment of the city council of each city deem to be in the public interest; WHEREAS, On May 11, 2021, the City Council of the City of Boise voted unanimously to de- annex the 6.22 acre property from the City of Boise; WHEREAS,the use of the parcel as an expansion of Pamela Baker Park is in conformance with the comprehensive plan and in the public interest; WHEREAS,the City desires to create a clear public record of the City of Eagle's acceptance and confirmation of the donation of the 6.22 acre vacant parcel, situated in a portion of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4, Government Lot 6 and in a portion of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 , Government Lot 7, Section 21, Township 4 North, Range 1 E, Boise Meridian, City of Boise ADA County, Idaho, and identified as Parcel B on City of Boise Record of Survey #12719 (attached hereto). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, Ada County, Idaho, as follows: Section 1: The City Council for the City of Eagle hereby confirms the acceptance of the 6.22 acre parcel as recorded in Ada County as Instrument#075352 (Warranty Deed) and identified as parcel number S0521244700.
