SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
July 20,2021
1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Pierce calls the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: GINDLESPERGER, PITTMAN, BAUN, PIKE. All
present. A quorum is present.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
4. FY 21/22 Budget Presentation:
A. Eagle Arts Commission, Mark McAllister:
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
Chairman McAllister reviews the Arts Commission budget request for fiscal year 2021-
2022, as well as ongoing and proposed projects.
City Treasurer,Kellie Rekow hands out updated budget spreadsheets for incorporation into
the budget workbooks.
B. Parks and Recreation Department, Beeg Johnson
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
Parks and Recreation Director, Brandon Johnson reviews the proposed budget for Special
Events, Recreation Department and Eagle Fun Days.
Council encourages a revenue analysis and discusses the need to create a business model
in order to make the Recreation and Special Events budget less reliant on general fund
offsetting costs.
Discussion.
C. Economic Development Department, Robin Collins
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
Economic Director, Robin Collins reviews the proposed budget for economic
development.
D. IT Department, Devonte Goodman
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
IT Director, Devonte Goodman reviews the proposed budget for the information
technology department.

Baun moves to adjourn. Seconded by Gindlesperger. ALL AYE...MOTION
CARRIES.
