Special Meeting
March 16, 1993
The Eagle City Council met in special session on March 16, 1993.
Mayor GUERBER presiding.
The following members were present: RICK YZAGUIRRE, STAN
BASTIAN, KELLI BLAIR. Absent: TOM EASON
TOPIC OF DISCUSSION: Water System Bond/Water System negotiations
Review of the status of the water bond issue was given by Stan
Bastian and Bob Hildeman, West One Bank representative. A
Subdivision report and Water Revenue Bond Assumptions report was
distributed to the Mayor, Council members, City Attorney and City
Engineer.
The Lexington/Echo Creek water permit was also discussed. A layout
of the City of Eagle Municipal wells, located in Lexington
Subdivision, and the new well and well sites of Eagle Water Company
was presented and discussed.
YZAGUIRRE suggested the Council needs to decide how we are going to
proceed and to negotiate with Bob DeShazo before making a decision
about the amount of a revenue bond. The Mayor pointed out the
necessity of an appraisal.
Moved by BASTIAN and seconded by YZAGUIRRE to proceed with the
appraisal with the idea of getting a list of those individuals who
could appraise the Eagle Water Co. and from that list get an
agreement between the owners of Eagle Water Co., and the
representatives of City of Eagle as to which company is acceptable
for an appraisal and go ahead with that action.
The appraisal and subsequent agreement will be a binding agreement
between both parties, so long as the cost of the purchase of Eagle
Water Co. system is feasible. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
