Meeting Minutes

1. CALL TO ORDER:

WOLLERMAN
Present: BLAIN, ELWER, JOHNSON, PINGREE, STIRRAT, WOLLERMAN.
Absent: COLSON
A quorum is present.
3. REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A. Minutes of March 11, 2021
Stirrat moves to approve the minutes. Seconded by Blain. ALL AYES... MOTION
CARRIES.
4. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Discussion and Q & A with the Subject Matter Experts
Jerry, President of the Idaho California Trail System, provides the history of the Oregon trail. He
expresses that it would be helpful to install informative signs. They would not want anyone
driving or riding bikes on the ruts since it is a historical site and they do not recommend fencing
out the ruts.
Councilman Baun provides an update on the current mapping of where the different user groups
would be placed on the map.
Butch Whiting, CEO Kryptek Outdoor Group, an Eagle based business, addresses the questions
that were provided by the work group.
General discussion with Whiting and the work group.
Carrie O'Neal with TRS Range Svc, LLC, is an Eagle based firm that provides construction,
design and evaluation services for gun range needs. O'Neal reviews the questions that were
provided. He believes the range should make money and ensures that a range can be created in a
safe manor. They address sound mitigation, safety, and mitigate led concerns. They would love
to see a range in Eagle and would be happy to be a part of the project and offer services at cost.
General discussion amongst the work group and O'Neal. The work group recommends moving
forward on a feasibility study.

Elwer moves to adjourn. Seconded by Stirrat. ALL AYES... MOTION CARRIES.
