Resolution - 2015 - 15-22 - Amend Republic Services Fee Schedule Pursuant To The Solid Wast Contract Recycling Collection Services - 09/22/2015RESOLUTION No. 15-22 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, AMENDING REPUBLIC SERVICES FEE SCHEDULE PURSUANT TO THE SOLID WASTE CONTRACT RECYCLING COLLECTION SERVICES AS STATED IN SECTION 4.2 A. "CUSTOMER RATES — ESTABLISHMENT" AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Republic Services desires to begin enforcing industry standard for trash collection, as stated in the existing franchise agreement between the City of Eagle and Republic Services; and WHEREAS, Republic Services wish to encourage the use of carts to improve workplace safety for their employees; and WHEREAS, Republic Services is proposing a fee reduction for those customers with Unlimited Trash Services who choose to rent an additional cart; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO: Section 1: That the rate for additional cart rental for customers with Unlimited Trash Service shall be reduced as follows: Additional Cart rental rate: $6 -Wl.75 per cart All other rates shall remain the same and are reflected in Exhibit A. Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect as of October 1, 2015. ADOPTED by the Eagle City Council, Eagle Idaho. This cAg n 6 day of September, 2015.
