SPECIAL MEETING
MAY 16, 1992
1:00 p.m.
A special meeting was held at Eagle City Hall on May 16, 1992
regarding acquisition of the Mendiola property.
Those members in attendance were: YZAGUIRRE, EASON, BASTIAN, BLAIR
Moved by YZAGUIRRE and seconded by EASON to go into executive
session in order to discuss the acquisition. ALL AYE.. MOTION
CARRIED.
The regular session resumed at 1:55 p.m. Moved by EASON and
seconded by BASTIAN to advise Mendiola the City made an offer, he
has the option to accept that offer and remove the liability to the
City. If the property should sell for more than we purchased it we
will pay the difference back to him up to $90,000. ALL AYE:
MOTION CARRIED. Moved by EASON and seconded by BASTIAN to amend
the motion to include giving the City Attorney the authority to
pledge $10,000 toward the purchase. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by EASON and seconded by YZAGUIRRE to go back into executive
session to discuss possible litigation.
The regular session resumed at 2:05 p.m.
General discussion was held regarding the City of Eagle Water Co.,
the contract and ordinance.
Motion to adjourn by EASON seconded by YZAGUIRRE. The time was 2:45
